As the sunrises early in the morning, the sky lights up with colour and the first of many barges approach.

This is the first in a series of eight landscapes looking at Macleay and Karragarra Islands and how they look at each other.  The water is important to everyone who lives on these islands.  Many barges, and ferries come and go each day, but the early morning is the most beautiful and inspires my art.
