It’s all about the boat, the sun setting and the mangroves.
“At Anchor” looked like it was going to be fun to paint, but, it did my head in. I wanted the mangrove roots to look like some were in front, and others behind, as the afternoon light caught them in places. This is a tranquil scene. It makes me want to dive in and swim out to the boat, lay on the deck and have a wonderful seafood dinner with friends.
